Are you familiar with America, the rock band? Can you remember them being played on the radio before there were classic rock stations?
It is festival season in my area and we have a festival of some sort every weekend for months. I particularly love the music fesitvals. I enjoyed hearing Blue Oyster Colt play.
Do you like them? Do you have a favorite song?
My favorite song of theirs is Sister Golden Hair. They were a really great crowd pleaser. Thousands and thousand came out to see them, all on blankets and lawn chairs under a starry sky. It was a great night.

How was the Abba-mania, Mo. Did you get to go?

Oh I hope that you are up to it, Mo. That will be so much fun. I loved Mama Mia when I saw it on my visit to London. I think that is what started all the Abba-mania. Abba's music is so fun.

Hi makingpots! I do like America! I don't remember the titles of their songs right this minute but the first songs that came to mind are "A Horse With No Name" and "Ventura Highway".However with Blue Oyster Colt, I am not familiar with them.
Take Care and God Bless! Happy Mylotting!

Everyone there was wanting to hear 'A Horse With No Name'. They saved it as one of their last songs..... smart band.
Blue Oyster Cult just seemed to sound more like I remember them sounding originally. They were really good.
