As such the most money is made on the internet, not from PTC sites but from websites that have become market places like ebay or websites that serve as retail outlets - like Amazon. These sites help reduce the need for swanky retail outlets and keep inventory at at efficient level. However, while these sites reduce many of the cost from traditional businesses, the same rules of business apply online as much as they do off line.
Hence it is important to maintain customer satisfaction. You need to make the online experience of doing business as rewarding as the retail outlets. You also need to ensure that your products are of good quality. Even if you were selling on ebay, you would find it very difficult to succeed if you provided people with lousy customer service and shoddy products. Integrity in the online commercial world is exceedingly important.
