I think I won't wear sandals any more when it is raining outside. As it will make my toes dirty. Today I made such a mistake. It is not possible that your toes won't get wet when it rains.

It's raining here, too. It seems it is also crying for the people who suffer in the earthquake disaster, as well as.

I just hate the rains in zhuhai. An umbrella won't help and it can get everything wet! This week it kept raining. 2 of my shoes have already been wet by the rain. If it keep on like this, I won't have dry shoes to wear. I hope I have sandals now. Before I just don't quite enjoy wearing them and thus I don't own a pair. I hate the rain season here

I don't use sandals when it is raining... my toes are not the only ones that get dirty... even my legs because of the splash of my sandals when i walk... i prefer to use my sneakers... or booths... the rain water don't get inside... and i can walk comfortable without thinking that i might slip and hurt myself... but then... i actually do not like going out when it is raining...

So ironic! Yesterday we got rain as well. And, our little kid could not go outside all day because it was lightening and raining. No, I would not often wear sandals outside if it were raining. But, I have done so once or twice when I was a kid. And, then again when I was pregnant, I wore open toed slip on sandals which were comfortable. And when I walked through the wet grass, my entire foot got soaked with water. Thanks for the topic. Be well. Stay strong.

Hi youless! I also don't like wearing sandals when it is raining because of all the dirt that will accumulate on my toes and feet. That is why when it is raining, I would rather wear boots. Take Care and God Bless! Happy Mylotting!

But it seems to be strange to wear boots in summer in my opinion.

Hi youless! I do agree that is weird to wear boots in summer but when it rains, i think it is alright. Besides, I really don't mind what people other think..it is not their feet or toes that will get dirty but mine anyway. Take care dear!

I will wear sandals when it rains.I have some different opinion with you.Wear sandals it definitely will wet the feet. The feet will be dirty.but it will be more trying when you wear the shoes and the rain get into it.My choes like a boat and i hardly to walk. At the rainy day,i seldom to take off my choes at public place or other people's home whether i wear the sandals or the shoes, the feet must be dirty and wet,and the smell of my shoes will feculent.I will be shamed to let other person know that.

In fact when it has a heavy rain, there are no perfect shoes to wear.

I wouldn't wear sandals when is raining. When in my school years I used to walk barefoot after raining and I also enjoy walking without an umbrella... I still like walking barefoot after raining, but only during the hot summer and away from the city....

I generally tend to wear sandals most of the time anyway so it doesn't really bother me if it rains or not. Sometimes it is easier to dry my feet than dry out my shoes.

ohh..LOL! I am not thinking anymore about that routine since I am not working for the past 3 months! Anyway, when I use to work, I just wear my close shoes with my stockings! and prefer to have wide umbrella since I am only commuting before, no car!LOL!

hi youless. I think I even have to wear sandals when it is raining, especially when I need to walk. I feel that it’s better to get my feet wet and dirty, also feet and sandals are easier to wash and to dry, but wet shoes would become trouble during rainy seasons. So, usually when it is possible, I would use sandals to walk on the streets during rainy seasons, and if I have to wear shoes at the destination place, I would bring the shoes in plastic bag and change from sandals into shoes only when I arrive. But the case would be different if I have to go with buses during raining times. People would just rush here and there, and the case we would get slipped is bigger during the raining times, so wearing sandals won’t be a good choice if I must go by bus during rainy season.

I don't like raining, too. Perhaps it is crying, as there are many people have suffered in the earthquake and I am so sad to it.

I rarely went out if its raining outside. specially if the rain pour hard. But If i had to go out in a rain, I wore shoes. But if the rain was too hard and the street already fill with waters, I wear cheap sandals, so i do not ruin my shoes. I can always clean my feet later.

Nope. but, there are instances that when I left the house, it's not raining and make me wear my sandals and all of a sudden it will rain,LOL! I hate it since I have to walk slowly so that I wont be having a wet and dirty toes. I love to wear rubber shoes when it is raining in that way, I am really protected from any dirt and water!

Hi, Wearing sandals when raining have many benefit. If it is raining, wearing sandals with high heels can prevent you from mud and the flood which is very itchy when the foot is not washed immediately after the rain.Or even if you wear only flat sandals is still okay because it does not matter if you wear sandals as long as you have something to wipe it like tissue, hanky or small cloth is okay. For me i love wearing open flat sandals when raining because my feet will get wet if i wear close shoes it will get wet and it will not dry easily which is bad because it will produce bad odor on my feet so i choose to wear sandals or slippers is better and when i reach to my destination i will just wipe or clean my feet then change it wear sandals or the shoe i want to wear.
