I like Jo. She is kind og similar to me, since she reads a lot.

When I read it for the first time, when I was little,I felt very much inentified by Jo. Now that I´m old I can see why. Jo was by far the most "modern" caracter in the book. She like to do things and did not wait for things to happen to her.
Of course I´d have married Laurie if I had been her. I never liked the professor. LOL

I like the character of Jo. She reminds me of myself with her boyish manner and unwillingnes to conform. Her temper also reminds me of myself. While reading the novel I always felt that she would have ended up with "Teddy", their neighbour given their close relationship. But she seems better suited for the professor.

I like Jo more than the rest of the siblings.

Actually teka i dont like reading books that much.I only read books when our teacher ask us to read it...

Growing up, I had one sister and 2 girl cousins. so that makes four of us just like the March sisters.Plus during our childhood, the Little women cartoon series was being aired that's why we got a sense of the story. but we never quite liked it when Beth died because we don't want anyone of us to also die

back to your question, I feel that I am like Meg and Jo at the same time.
Jo has opinions of her own and is very independent. I am somehow like that but I'm not as strong willed and stubborn.
I feel like I am meg only because she's the eldest and thus has to take a lot of responsibility.

Meg, being the eldest. I know the pressure. Because my two sisters and I have a big age gap. Plus, they had a family at an early age. Leaving me and my younger brother. I know how it feels like to be pressured as someone who is the hope of the family. WHen you graduate you will do this, when you marry it has to be someone like this...

Jo, I was the boyish one among my sisters. I always wanted to be the one my father would look to as his junior. SInce my brother seemed a little bit too feminine when he was younger. I love Jo's passion for writing. I would like to be a writer someday and inspire people.

BEth, I love her love for music, her simplicity and humbleness. Although she seemed to be the weakest one among all of them, I really think she was a strong woman, having to face the sickness she caught, and doing what she did for the family she brought food for. Maybe if she lived a little bit longer she would be a nurse, or a teacher.

Amy, I used to be like amy, envying my sisters "Why can't I hang out with you? OoooH ate you are so pretty, I want to be like you when I grow up..."

We all have a little of each sister in us. But ofcourse in the end, I prefer Jo.

In many ways, I'm like Jo. She is boyish, a good writer, and wide reader. And she believes that "poverty has a sunny side". But sometimes, I tend to be like Amy who frets a lot about life's problems and hardships. She's also ambitious. I tend to be that way.
