A Good Lawyer Killed

Almost everybody in Cebu, especially those connected with or working in any legal offices or law firms, were shocked upon receiving the news that a very good lawyer was ambushed this morning...
Two men riding a motorcycle fired their guns at Atty. Richard W. Sison while driving his car in a busy street in Cebu City. He sustained multiple gunshot wounds in the head which resulted to his death...
Sison was declared died upon arrival in a nearby hospital at 1:20pm...
Some people believed that the killing is job-related. He handles some big cases not only in Cebu. He is also one of the legal counsel of a City Mayor here...
Our sincere condolences to the family of Atty. Richard W. Sison...

I don't know what is in the mind of those people that are doing this kind of crime. Are they out of their mind? This is really horrible, not just horrible but disgusting. Everytime I watched the news there are massacres, killings, robbery. I think this people are insane. Anyway, my deepest condolences to the family of Atty. Richard W. Sison. I hope that justice will prevail.

Thanks for the response gang. We all hope that the killers and also the mastermind of the killing of Atty. Sison will be arrested in the most possible time, and have them face the consequences of what they did...

When something like this happens it makes me feel how low we have sunk as human beings. While killings were a way of settling scores in the past as in dueling, it has been made a criminal act to kill anyone. For this to happen in modern times is to suggest that perhaps we are not as civilized as we need to be.

Well I am very sorry to hear this. It is aways very unfortunate when a person is killed in cold blood like this, and especially a good lawyer at that.I know he will be missed very much.This will be a great lose For Cuba.I feel very bad for the family and for all the people that had to witness this as well. I will be in prayer for all involved. I hope the people that did this will be caught soon and will be made to pay for what they have done.

Oh Gosh! This is horrible!
Hope they will find the killers soon. My deepest sympathy to the family of Atty. Richard W. Sison. And may his soul rest in peace.

Actually honeybeemay, there was an uncomfirmed report just this afternoon, that one of the suspects is already held by the police authorities. Let's wait for some updates on this matter... Thanks for the response...
