WEll, as most everyone knows i havent been around on here for a while. I lost my home last year because of foreclosure and moved to an apartment leaving my son with my parents. It happens that the apartment we moved into went into foreclosure and the guys downstairs didnt like woman. They also dont like non-white men so they shut the power off on us. we then tried living hotel to hotel for a while until we finally went broke. now were on the streets living out of the car barely making it day to day. Thank God for the church for without them we wouldn't have had food to eat because we have to go to the church where they give free meals away for the homeless monday thru friday. usually cold meat sandwiches and pbj sandwiches and sometimes soup. they always have something different and its usually always good. i learned alot, but due to me being four months pregnant i wont be staying on the streets much longer. They have this place for showering and washing clothes and such but i dont fit in cause i dont have a "habit" crack drugs etc. i tried to get help thru section 8 and other agencies but ILLINOIS doesn't have the funds. Anyways a lesson learned and in time things will be fixed and situated i am sure. Anyways just touching base letting everyone know i am still alive and hopefully back on track soon. God bless everyone and take care

I'm sorry that you are going through this. I do understand though. My husband became disabled about a year ago and due to his inability to work we lost everything. We lost his business and our house. We had been considering becoming Full Time RVers for a long time so we decided this was the time. We took the little money we had and bought a cheap travel trailer. We hauled it to a friends and the plan was to live in it until he got his Social Security Disability, however that was in Maine. As soon as the temp dropped to negative numbers we knew we couldn't heat it. We sold everything we had left. His tools, his truck and his van. We bought a cheap van to haul the camper and took the money we had and moved south. Now we are living off my disability check until his gets approved. We are fortunate that we found an inexpensive campground and can live off what I get but it's not easy. We easily could have been living in a car too if we hadn't known about this lifestyle and had already done the research and planned to do it in the future anyway. My heart goes out to you. I hope things work out for you soon.

I don't know you or your situation and I don't know what else to say here, except that I am pausing for a quick prayer right now. God bless ...
