Hello and thank you for visiting my discussion on Gratitude. I keep a gratitude journal with me everywhere I go, so that I can start writing whenever I have a need to be thankful for something. It's amazing how much you can come up with once you get the pen to move. Merriam-Webster Dictionary meaning for gratitude: the state of being grateful, thankfulness. Quote by Melodie Beattie.. Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns Denial into Acceptance, Chaos into order, Confusion into Clarity...It turns Problems into Gifts, Failures into Success, the Unexpected into Perfect Timing, and Mistakes into Important Events. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings Peace for Today and creates a Vision for Tomorrow. So true is this quote. Today, I'm so happy and grateful to have found Mylot, I never spend so much time on one site before. I'm grateful to wake to a new day that I have never seem before. I'm grateful for my family and friends who are so supportive and caring. I'm grateful to have a computer and access to the internet or else I won't be here typing now. P.s. Every time I express gratitude, something good happens. WHAT MAKES YOU GRATEFUL TODAY!

I am grateful I have a roof over my head and people to love. I am grateful my computer is still working, even if it is barely going. I am grateful I have a brain to think with and eyes and ears. I am grateful there is something for me to eat today, even if it isn't much. I am grateful I have the abililty to read and write. I have lived places where a lot of people couldn't. I did something similar for awhile, but I called it a Happiness Journal.

Today, I grateful just looking at the picture of the beautiful container garden I made and took a picture of. Nature in its own way is so beautiful. I love a pretty garden. I'm also happy and grateful to view the clouds over Texas in the form of art structures, some designed to look like cities building, bridges, shapes of animals, picture frames with a sunbeam streaking thru. Life is beautiful.

Well I havent had a real good day since I stubed my toe over a dumbell lastnight and it still hurts. So it made work painfull when I had to step on it. But other then that I am gratefull it was a nice day perfect weather and no rain. It was pretty empty at when I started otherwise I would of had to go do carts a lot which would of made my feet hurt a lot worse and I was in no mood today to do carts.

LOL, just think it could have been worst as you acknowledge. I'm glad you only stubbed you toe and no broken bones and hard labor. Before you know it, the pain will be gone and you will have forgotten or at least glad it doesn't hurt anymore.

This question actually makes you sit up and ponder and most especially think how UNGRATEFUL we are most of the time because we take a lot of things for granted... At this moment, I am very grateful for another brand new time, at the chance to give of myself to others, to engage in my passions, like writing... and the opportunity to touch even just one human being's life.
