Where would you prefer to shop: Ebay or Amazon.com?

Recently, I discovered the joys of shopping at Amazon.com. They have everything, literally! From toys and bicycles to candy and food. Plus tons of cool computers and gadgets. I don't think there's one thing they don't have.
Now, it's my second favorite place to shop, after Ebay. Some days I think that it's a more reliable place to shop than Ebay. There are many more professional shops and sellers and not so much home grown stuff. They have so many amazing books and CD's and many brand new items at tremendous discounts.
Do you shop at Amazon often? Do you save lots of money? Would you prefer shopping at Ebay over Amazon?

I will definitely have to start shopping at Amazon more. For some reason, I find that Ebay has a yard sale feeling. Amazon is always more professional.

I've noticed that too. For example, I was looking for a Maxell disk scratch repair kit. And the kit costs ten dollars plus at the official Maxell site. But, it sells for two bucks on Amazon.com. I think they call it used. But, the person stated that it was still in original packaging. Maybe it's considered used if the person is not an official reseller. That's fine with me. Saved me a bundle. I really need that scratch repair stuff.

I prefer Amazon hands down. I've only purchased a few things from Ebay but I don't feel it's as reliable as Amazon. If you don't buy the product from Amazon but from one of the marketplace sellers, the sellers are bound by certain standards and must conduct themselves professionally like Amazon does. If you do not they can suspend your account. I just love the crazy discounts you can get from shopping there.

Crazy discounts is one of the primary reasons that I shop on Amazon! Well there's that and the professional atmosphere and liberal free shipping deals.

I haven't bought anything from Ebay but I often purchase from Amazon. Amazon is a good website and especially has good discount for books. And the delivery fee is free of charge and I really appreciate to it. Besides, Amazon is a famous company, so its products should have some guarantee.

It's Amazon all the way for me baby! lol
I like to shop on Amazon because after you spend $25, you get free shipping. It's a 5 or 6 day wait for your package, but it's worth it to me.
I figure if I go to the book store and buy three books for $8 dollars each, that's $24. Now, I have to add in gas and taxes. Amazon saves me money.

I like shopping at both. If you like those two sites try going to http://www.half.ebay.com I buy all my books, games and movies from here. I think you will really like it if you haven't already discovered it. :)

I like both sites but tend to buy books, cds and dvds from Amazon rather than eBay. I buy clothes and other things on eBay sometimes although these days I have to watch the pennies.

I have never shopped on ebay before but have on Amazon for second hand books. I have yet to try ebay.

Definitely Amazon is safer and more reliable than Ebay. Though I haven't tried shopping at Ebay yet, I have heard so many horror stories about people getting scammed.

I have never shopped at ebay before, but would rather prefer amazon. That way i can get what I want right away with out having to wait and see if anyone else bids on it.

I never experience shopping through the internet yet. I still dont know the mechanics. Are you using your paypal in buying those stuffs? Or you are using a credit card. I don't know also if how those bought items be delivered to you and if who will shoulder the delivery charges.
