Parody/Spoof Movies

Do you like movies that poke fun of other movies? I really like movies that parody others. I think they're funny. My whole family likes watching them.
The older ones like Airplane! and The Naked Gun series are funny, but I like the newer ones because they are usually based around movies that I know.
I liked the first two "Scary Movie" movies, but didn't think that #'s 3 & 4 were that good. I really like 'Not Another Teen Movie'. That's probably my favorite. It's probably because I love all those teen movies that it is based around.
'Epic Movie' was ok, but I didn't really like 'Date Movie'.

I would most definitely have to say space balls ^^ its so funny and utterly ridiculous at the same time. I've seen it so many times I've lost count.

I agree that Mel Brooks is good at the spoof genre of movies. One of my all time favorites would be History of the World, part I
(there isn't a part II !!!)
And I also like the vampire movie spoof called Love at First Bite. I introduced this movie to some friends of mine a few years back and we still quote from it regularly.
At the moment Austin Powers is on the tv and another one will follow after that. They're really funny imho.

I hadn't heard of 'First Bite'. I bet that one would be good. I should check it out. I've only seen a little bit of 'History of the World'. I should probably finish watching that. I know that on tv shows they mention it a lot.

i really like Galaxy Quest. it was so funny. especially Guy. he was just drop dead funny. i was hoping they would try and make another one but so far that one is my favorite. that and Robin hood: men in tights.
