m2c on 4th season  | |  I think this was the worst season for Grey's Anatomy.
It was still nice but I guess we lost lot of things...
Preston and Addison were beautiful characters and they won't be back.
George was the funniest and sweetest intern and they made him fault his exam so we almost didn't see him this year. I was expecting great things from Lexie but even if at the beginning her relationship with Meredith was well developed they just stopped talking about it and in the second part of the season almost disappeared.
Erica Hann was pretty boring, at the beginning it seemed a nice character but then they've made her appear always in the same role: Christina's enemy.
The only character that still has a good story is Bailey, they talked about her problems and the way she was trying to manage her life. Everyone else is pretty old story and it seemed to me like they don't know anymore what they they could tell about them... they're still keeping talking about old issues between Meredith and her mother.
Maybe Alex is still interesting because he has problems with his past coming back but everyone else is pretty boring, IMHO.

| | | | | | 1. callen76 (3)  | 5 months ago |  I would have to agree with most everything you've said. Everything after the second (and best) season has pretty much been downhill. Although there were several good moments in the finale Thursday night. I'm hoping that George is going to get back on the right track and become the man we all thought he could be way back when. Lexie is a bit grating, and Izzie has become an all out witch! I did like that she comforted Alex at the end of the episode, and I LOVED that Alex finally let his guard down and we could see that he is not just an a-hole! Cristina is finally coming back to her old self, which to me is a good thing. And Meredith and Derek, well I would be money he gets hit by a bus or something on his way to tell Rose that they are through. You know that the writers can't give Mer Der any sort of happiness! I too think that the show was much better with Preston and Addison - it has definitely been missing something since they've been gone. I don't like the character of Erica Hahn - I can't understand her hatred of Cristina, even if she is trying to teach her to be a better surgeon or whatever. I don't think taking Callie and Hahn into a relationship is a good idea either. It just doesn't seem to fit Callie's character. To me the writers just seem to rush into relationships for no reason and deal with the fallout later.
Of course, my favorite character still is Dr. Bailey. When she was on her way home to husband I just wanted to cry. I love when they make her strong in her own way, not just making speeches to all the residents.

This one ended the way I wanted to see it end. I know it won't stay that way, but for now its good. I guess I am too easily entertained, because I loved it.
