|  I thought American Idol's 2008 Finale was just great! So many musicians, ZZ Top, Gladys Knight, Donna Summer, Graham Nash, Jonas Brothers, etc.
I liked the addition of comedy to it: Mike Myers a.k.a. the Love Guru and Jimmy Kimmel were really good.
I think that David Cook will go on to be at least as successful as Kelly Clarkson and Chris Daughtry, what do you think?

| | Oh, weren't they so funny? I do love Robert Downey Jr. Yes, it's pretty cool that David Cook won. He does seem quite versatile and also humble, which I think is a good quality to have when you are about to become really rich and famous. I can't even imagine how excited he must have been to sing with ZZ Top.
I agree with you marilynut, he will sell lots of albums. And we can both say we predicted it when it happens!!! LOL That's so silly, I have a feeling a lot of people in the music industry have also predicted his success.

| |  I think the finale went that extra step of being a completely fake and stupid reality show. Al of the boxing stuff stole away from the professionalism of the show and made it corny in a bad way.

I am already thinking about next season's American Idol and what they could possibly do at the finale to compare with that! Some have said some of the comedy was a littly hoky (sp?). Even so, I think it was a fantastic ending to a great season. Plus, with the 2 Davids, what could possibly go wrong?

It is a good show reminds me of star search. My brother swore he was going to be on that show LOL.
But he never was he instead learned Tagalog language and became a professional singer. He doesn't do it any more. He has this list of things he wants to do in his lifetime and being a singer was one of them. So he has crossed that off his list and moved on :-)
