Would You Consider Selling Your Baby?..  |

 Some women here in my country, did consider selling their kids, (It's in the news)..They always say that because they are so poor and doesn't have money to feed the child, they opted to sell. They also say that, rather than the kid die of starvation or just end up in a dumpster, better to sell (not give) to those who cannot have children and at least the kid's life will be better..And there are those, intentionally get pregnant so they can sell the baby to the highest bidder..
Why get pregnant if you know that you're so poor and cannot afford another mouth to feed? Why do some women can still live their normal lives, after selling their babies?
Would you do it, if you are given the same circumstances?

I can understand selling the baby but only if the parents want to test to see if the people they are giving it to will be able to support the child.
I don't like hearing things like this, it breaks my heart to hear of women selling their children.

It seems unfair that they can't have children while other women who have children sell them. I think that whatever the circumstances you shouldn't sell your child. I know I wouldn't. It's my child and I nurtured it in my womb for 9 months and gave birth to it. That makes the child important and special. If I am very poor I don't know where to get money to feed my child I won't use this as an excuse. I was poor before the baby and still decided to have one. It is then my responsibility to do everything I can to feed my baby. Selling the baby seems to be the easy way out. | |

| 20. angel_of_charm (2710) | 2 years ago |  if i don't have enough to feed my children then i wouldn't sell them but instead have them cared for some people i know and wont ask money...having them adopted is different from selling them..its more understandable..i don't get people's mind of why they wont take contraceptives so that they wont get pregnant..your right if they cant afford another child then they must do something to prevent getting pregnant..there are just people who can bear it and live normal..this people are the people who are used of doing it and had exchange their children for a penny..i feel so sad about this
