I read the book Pursuit of Happyness before I saw the Movie although the Moive was really good and Mr.Smith and his son both done a great job. This book is the only book I have ever read that brought me to tears the details the book gave. and the daughter that was never metioned in the book The life of this man is and was a great learning experience for me and had mad me pursure a dream I let go of many years ago. Have any of you read the book and has it had some kind of impact on your life as well?

I have heard so much about this story and have not read the book nor seen the movie. I tend to be a bit cynical about life in general and take it as one more thing that happens as a matter of course. I shall try to get my hands on a copy of this book or watch the movie when it comes again.

You Will not regret it I love real life stories and this one was tops like I said it brought me to tears so...

I did not know that there is a book version of this film until today. I would definitely have a copy of that book and read it as I have the habit of reading book versions of the movies that I like. And I really like this movie as it is very inspiring. I will let you know once I get to read the book, for sure it will inspire me all over again as it did when I watched the film.

isuppose that book is much better, not that i love books but in movies as i had notice,some scenes are cut...and yet its a good movie,so i could say its good book too

i have seen the movie and i liked the story very much because it teaches us that in life there would be struggles at times or most of the time but in the end of those struggles and your pursuit to happiness, there is a bright future that is meant for you. those pursuits will make you a stronger person and ready to face any challenge in life. i am looking forward to reading the book. the story of Chris' life had a positive impact on me in pursuing my dreams, my aspirations.
