Marriage..! what is your idea..?

I think that men and women choose whether they want to marry someone or not. They choose this by deciding for themselves whether marriage is right or wrong.... Some people may only marry to please parents or their surround environments, but some do it to please their own partners as well.... It all depends on who you are.

I think marriage is something very sacred and it characterizes a lifelong devotion (or covenant, if you'd like to call it that way), faithfulness and trust between the two parties. While I think marriage is nice and it would be a once-in-a-lifetime experience to be able to go through it, I also think marriage is not really necessary for a person who thinks that being single is more satisfying. We live in a world of choices today, and we can see many single people who live peaceful and satisfying lives without marriage. On the other hand, marriage can sometimes be from force, like for parental satisfaction like how you described. I feel these days marrying for parental satisfaction is not really prevalent anymore, but is still occurring in some countries. I personally think that for parents to impose such rules on their children is really improper, because those parents are "forcing" their children to love and be togther with someone that they might not love. But. of course, if the child loves the parents' choice, that would be a different story altogether....
