What is your favourite dinner to cook for your family?Do they show their appreciation?Are there left overs or do they consume it all ther same night?What is the recipe?My favourite meal to cook for my family is chicken stir fry,they love it.They give me their thanks whatever I cook though so its nothing extra when I make this for them.

Our favourite family dinner is beef lasagne.
None of us are Italian by the way but this dish ho we cook it is superb.
Many people have commented that they have not tasted it so good in an Italian restaurant and we take that as a real compliment.
Also everybody takes part - one will make the meat sauce, another the cheese sauce, and someone else assembles the salad and makes the garlic bread.
One of the 'secret' ingrdients is to use sun dried tomatoes in herb-flavoured olive oil and to put a little of the flavoured oil in the mat sauce when cooking.
This discussion is now officially making me hungry - there is NEVER any left when we cook this at weekends.
