yes, YOU.. the one reading this right now, if you're a Filipino what can you say about your country? Do you believe and agree that The Philippines is a third world country? If you believe it is, what do you think you can do about it? If you don't believe or you don't agree that The Philippines is a third world country, would you take your stand to defend that belief, when someone insist that it is?
Philippines is now on top 4 on MyLot users by location, with almost 11000 users...

there's no use denying it. we're really third world but that doesn't mean we're entirely poor. it's nice knowing that we're rich in some ways like values, culture, and kalokohans :D

I think there's no doubt about it that it's really a third world country.. Anyway, what I think I could do is I should start refining every little acts that I usually do which contributes worse to our country (like the issue of cleanliness and throwing at the right containers and not abiding by the traffic rules and all) and yes, I know that these things are not great enough, but I tell you, small things can lead to greater things. :)

I have no doubt in my mind that Philippines, our country, is one of the third world countries now. And I believe that this is largely because of many corrupt people locally, specially in the government.
I'm irritated by the acts of corruption done by some of the government officials. In fairness, some of them aren't as corrupt before as they are now.
Sometimes, people react only to situations being given to them on a daily basis. What I mean is, some are not really corrupt but because we are given by God the freedom of choice, it is in our own hands whether to do what is right even if it will mean lower income or no food in our plates at all or be dictated by the majority who go with the flow of doing what is suppressing to the mass or the whole population.
But even if our country is a third world country, it doesn't necessarily mean that we can't do anything about this to improve our standing. I know that we have the capacity to emerge triumphant as many of us are successful in various fields and endeavors in different parts of the world.
In all of this, I firmly believe that God is just watching over us and He isn't taking things for granted. I also believe in the law of karma, "what you give is what you'll reap in return." It may not be in an instant, but as it is said in the Holy Scriptures, 'there's a time for everything.'
Anyway, God bless you in all your dreams in life and keep doing good.
