Music has always had such an uplifting vibe to it that many people sue ti to help hone their craft. I even use it to help me unwind at the end of the day as I read my latest novel. I just in my relaxation CD, which is a mix of nature sounds and classical music. ANd I am not a classical music person at all, but I have found that listening to the soft sounds of instruments blended with the natural sounds of the Earth is quite relaxing and very inspirational. It even helps me appreciate life a little more.
And I listen to my favortie rock band when I am getting ready to go out with friends to help get me in the mood. And on rainy days when I just cannot get going and know I have to start cleaning house I put on a little Sade....
This is what I love about being an eclectic music lover. The only type of music that I cannot seem to appreciate is the Beeches and Hoes type of music...and that's not to say that I do not appreciate rap....just not that kind.
So what types of music do you listen to? Are you monogamous to one type or a variety? And how does it move you or inspire you?

Oh Taface like you I have very eclectic tastes when it comes to music, there are only two types that grate on my nerves, rap and bluegrass. When I am cleaning I want some good ole rock and roll. I mean the kind that makes you want to get up and dance. But sometimes I am in the mood for country and gospel. Classic and nature sounds have a place for relaxation. The blues move me in ways I can not describe.

I have found a liking to some bluegrass....like Allison Krauss and the Union station mainly...and very little country....and I mean little. Which is odd because I am fromt he country....
But R&R does make you clean better don't ya think?

Now I like Alison Krause, her style of blue grass is not what I am talking about.... that old county from Kentucky type... I know you know what I mean.
