Do you think bubble on washing laundry really helps clothing to be clean?

This is an inquiry discussion. Here in our place people still believe much in bubbles, that it cleans clothes...but, observing washing clothes in washing machines, i noticed that bubbles are on top of the water level and clothes are at the bottom....hhhmmmmm.
What do you know?

The bubbles are on top because of the motion of the machine washing the clothes, but the soap is in the water, so as the machine agitates the clothes the soap goes through them. I believe that most of the soap has a low level of suds, and you don't see much in the way of bubbles any more, if I can't see suds then I can't see the clothes being cleaned so sometimes I add more soap, but don't really think that it helps to clean the clothes, only adds more soap to the clothes, try to let it rinse and then reset the rinse and add a small amount of vinegar, to the water, watch how much soap comes out of the clothes this time, usually when clothes begin to look dull,it is because of the soap left in them after washing , I try to add vinegar to all my loads on a second rinse if they are dark or colored clothes, it take all the extra soap out of them. so the they are not dull looking.

I don't think bubble can clean clothes. If it can, why don't we use shampoo to wash cothes? Shampoo also can make lots of bubbles. The fact is that, we only use washing powder to wash our clothes. It is said that washing powder contains enzyme which can break down dirt in our clothes. I don't know whether it is true.
