DuoMaxwell is back on MyLot with a vengeance, baby!

It's good to be back at Mylot, and I gotta say, I missed y'all, and it's been a long while since I was gone without a home computer. While I was gone, I got a lot to fill you in about. The day after Easter, my father finally got a taste of what he deserved. While he violently beat my mother up and almost strangled her, I took the chance to record it all on my cell phone, and after the police showed up, I showed my video evidence to them, therefore finally arresting him and hauling him away. For some reason, I felt glad that he's in handcuffs. After that, mom and me had to go to 2 court appearances with a domestic abuse counselor, and thanks to my cell phone video of the violence, he got a restraining order preventing him from going anywhere near her again, but it was only for a short time. During that time he was away, I still have another family headache to endure. If my father didn't give me enough high blood pressure in my life, then the one who still talks to him, my little wiseacre sister, will fill his void in making my life miserable. However, thanks to the SSI income that i'm recieving, i'm still planning to move out of my family home and achieve the freedom I still want. He got a piece of my lump sum from another bank, but since I felt that I didn't want to carry large amounts with me, I decided to split it just in case. I lost $1200 dollars to him when he closed my account, but thank god I still got what's left of it: my $500 dollars in my direct-deposit SSI account. I survived my not having the Internet by going to college where they had an internet connection, but unfortunately was almost slow. That's why I couldn't get on MyLot because of it. Today on May 29, 2008, I got my third computer overall, my second eMachines computer, and thanks to what i've learned from my previous experience, i've learned a lot, from the good and bad times. It's good to be back on MyLot!
