Do You Think That Having A Sense Of Humour Helps You Make More Money?

If you are selling anything, of course you have to have a sense of humour - partly because you are going to need it if they turn you down and partly because people who have a sense of humour aremore attractive than those miserable souls.

Heck,if it wasnt for my sense of humour ......

HOWEVER - it helps to have a good product or service to sell in the first place - because if your product is excellent, even the most miserable so and so can sell it and if it is useless even the happiest funniest salesman cant do it!!LOL

And the BUT - because there ealways is a but - you have to be careful not to go too far with your humour - if it is a bit "off colour" it can offend people.

If it too much "off the wall" it can scare people into thinking you are totally nuts and then they go and look for someone more "normal" to buy from.LOL

I would probably buy from you because I know you and know you are not as daft as you sound1 LOL - and the same happens with my customers too!

Humour is wonderful stuff - so long us us jojkers dont overdo it and frighten the nativesç! LOL

I love visiting you on Apsense Peaceful! You always have something funny to say. But apart from that, yeah I do think that having a sense of humour is important for every angle in life, but also to know when to be funny and when not to serious is a key skill I think, but anyway yeah I do think that a sense of humour helps not only make friends but lasting relationships and so, if one has those skills yeah they can make a lot of money lol. But the money is nothing but bread we need so what gives? We only pass this way once, AFAWK so we may as well all lighten up and the things we need will come our way anyway because we are genuine. That is what it is all about for me, be yourself, have some laughs and the rest just follows along anyway because you meant it.

If two people both have equal experience and knowledge shouldn't they both be able to sell equally? Why would the person with the sense of humor do better then the serious (calm, not angry) one?

I don't doubt it, Peaceful. You have made me laugh so often, sharing humor lightens the day and puts everyone in a brighter more open mood. I love the bubba story. But they're all good.

So yeh, people with humour can make more money.
