Where do you live? Here we don't have to have guides, but they do mark the trails with blazes and we are supposed to stay on the trail. That helps keep the forest clean and natural. We really enjoy hiking. I love taking nature pics as you can see from the blog..lol.

Well, you can't go regular hiking, but you might want to try geocaching. If you go to www.geocaching.com you can put in your zip code and see if there are any caches near you.
Geocaching is where people hide stuff in containers and others go hunting for it. It's like a treasure hunt. They usually have logs in them and you leave a small item and take one if you want. You can find out all the information from that page.
Have fun!

Hello sunnflr.
Your hiking pictures from your adventures in Alabama are very nice. I can't believe those were taken with a cellphone! Wow, I REALLY need to get a new one, if they take such clear and vivid pictures.
The tree that looked like a fence was lovely, and so were the waterfall pictures. I haven't ever heard of Chinabe but it looks like a great place to walk and commune with nature.
Thanks for sharing.
