What parts of the environment cause you the most concern?  

Oh, I see. I know about the ozone. I have a silent air purifier at home; known as ionic breeze. It gives me pure fresh filtered air. I bought it from Sharper Image. The website for this is www.sharperimage.com. The ionic breeze is the professional plus. It has an ozone guard. Once the unit is on, the negative/happy ions will add to the circulating air. Right?

I am hoping that the ozone layer does heal up.
I have heard that the military's use of planes, etc., that break through the sound barrier harm the ozone layer, and of course we have heard about hair sprays and other aerosals which mostly have been reformulated or pulled off the market.
It is interesting to see and hear what is said about the ozone layer and as we ourselves cannot see it, we trust that the experts are telling us the truth about it... I wonder about its true condition.

It is kind of you to walk... and not just because it fights pollution.
It also is good for you to be out in the air and good for the Earth to be walked on.

Thanks for sharing about what areas of the environment bother you most and also more about the Hudson River in Upstate New York. I had not known about the problems there. I am glad that they are finally cleaning it up. It is sad that the companies are so quick to pollute and so slow to clean it up and that they often only clean up their messes when they are forced by the government, based on the work of community action groups, to do so.
