Watching Movies With Friends

Recently, I started going out to breakfast with a group of my fellow workers. We go about every two weeks and cuss and discuss work, gossip about people in town, talk about our ills and ails, etc. I have really enjoyed our breakfasts. There were seven of us who went to breakfast this morning and a new movie release was brought up and someone suggested that we all get together and go to the movie theater on Tuesday evening to watch a much-talked-about new realease. It costs only $5 on Tuesday and there is a showing early enough in the evening so that we won't have to worry about having to rush to work afterward. This will be the first time in a very long time that I go to the movies with a bunch of my friends. Way back in the early 1970's, there was a bunch of us who drove an hour to see a Beatles movie fest. There were 3 movies showing. One was "A Hard Day's Night". "Help" was another. I can't remember what the third movie was. After we watched the Beatles movies, we ate breakfast at a truck stop on the way home. That was a really fun time for me. How often do you get together with a bunch of friends and go to the movie theater to watch the newest release or even a re-release? What movie(s) have you seen that was/were favorite??

Cool Poshboy. Sounds like fun. I think it would be fun for us ladies to get together after the movie, too, to discuss it, criticize it, or tell which was our favorite part of the movie.
