I found an interesting article today in New Idea magazine. Here is a quote I found quite interesting as sometimes I find it hard to get to sleep and I do talk on my mobile a fair bit. Here is what it says:
" Mobile phones may be robbing you of a good nights sleep-atleast that is what a joint study by researchers (Dr Bengt Arnetz) in Sweeden and Wayne State University in the US suggests. They discovered that restless nights may be due to the radio frequency released from mobiles. During the 18 month study, participants were either exposed to a radio frequency - the equivalent of radio raves when talking on the phone - or had no exposure at all. The former reported that it took longer for them to fall asleep and they didn't sleep well through the night and had headaches." (New Idea, 2008, p70.
So what do you think about this study. I tend to believe it is probably very true, I know it can't be good for us getting all those radio waves all the time.

I know you are right I couldn't imagine my life without my cell phone. It is very convenient and great in emergency situations. I might just cut back how often I use it though as sometimes I can talk on it for an hour at a time since my friend can call me phone free as we are both with the same phone company.
