To re-inlist or not that is the question

Here is the big one that has been on my mind and I am sure on every other first term ariman in the airforce. do you stay in and do the whole 20 year career or just be satified with the training and experience of the last 4-6 years. The last 5 1/2 years you have divoted to the goverment. You can now see the pros and cons of the job. What do you do? Stay in the job that may not be your cup of tea or look for something better. Granted you have great benfits medical dental, the whole enchlada. what if what they are asking is to much? How much is to much? Are you willing to go the distance and be all you can be?

I don't know from personal experience, but my dad was in the Navy and he has regretted getting out. Most of the men in my family have been in the military and I've heard both sides. Some say they're glad they're out because they don't have to move their families around, but some, like my dad, say that the military is a secure job and they are so hard to find that it would have been better to just reenlist. Good question.
