I hurt my foot on my birthday!!!

Wel considering I wasn't bothered about my birthday it was really good apart from I hurt my foot! My hubby and son surprised me by getting my mum and dad to meet us for a meal, it was lovely anyway after I said lets go for a drink, my hubby, son and mum went home and me and Dad went for a drink. It was a lovely evening and we sat in the beer garden after going to take the glasses back and go home i lost my footing and fell on the steps. No I wasn't drunk because it really hurt!! Anyway I thought it was a sprained ankle but by yest morn I had problems walking so of to hospital we went. After 3 hours of being in the hosp I finally got told I had damaged the ligament accross the top of my foot so I've gota rest which isn't easy when you've got a 5 year old, a dog and a hubby with a bad back! Anyway that was my weekend, my 29th bday will be one I won't forget! LOL

Oh that was no good I nearly did some damage the other night I missed a step and i thought ouch that hurt but now i more careful in that same area so i think when this sort of thing happens and you don't break anything then it is a friendly warning and we should be thankful for the warning rather than the break...

It was terrible, last time I went out though I wore my flip flops instead of heals LOL! I will just be more aware in future, thanks for the response.
