wooitsmolly_ I know it sounds strange, but when I get upset I concentrate on tiny details. It might be cleaning out the crevices on my car with a toothpick or cleaning old dust out of corners.
I can't think of any good examples right now. The attention to detail requires my mind to focus on one intricate task and it blocks out everything else.
That's one of the ways I soothe and relax my mind and body.

Crocheting is one of my big forms of relaxation. I like it as a form of relaxation because it's also productive, and I hate not doing anything. (I'm really bad at really relaxing. :) )
I also listen to music to relax, but, of course, that has to be the right music. Metal is not good for relaxation. :)
