On Saturday, I started reading this book again for the third time. Aside from the Bible, this is the most incredible book I have ever read. And being the avid reader that I am, for me that says a whole lot. I rarely ever read any book more than once. My sister bought this book and the journal that goes with it, for me about five years old. Every time I have read this book, it is because I have felt my life needing to be renewed. I feel a new direction coming up. By the time I finish reading this book, I am full of purpose and well aware of what God wants me to do next. It is a 40 chapter book and you make a commitment to read a chapter daily. The chapters are not long at all and it is very tempting to continue reading beyond the one chapter. You will definitely be looking forward to the next chapter every day. In fact, the first time I read it, I did not do it that way. I went through and read as much as I could each time. But these last to times I am reading it right. I will not give away any secrets because you can click on the link that I am including and check it out for yourself. Tell me what you think of it. http://www.amazon.com/Purpose-Driven%C2%AE-Life-What-Earth/dp/0310276993/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1212438422&sr=1-1

It has been years since I withdrew the book from my shelf. For beginners, Pastor Warren's book is a good thing. It teaches the basic tenets of Christianity, but in a shallow mode. If we will look deeper and study diligently, we will see that some of his insights are not aligned with the bible's theme. I won't put too much details here so that I won't spoil the thread. But generally, the PDL book which is a little far from the true face of Christianity.

Oh alright, I did not see that. But everyone as their opinion of a certain thing. It was truly a blessing for me to read all three times.

One of my church's sunday school classes is going through the book, I myself haven't been able to make it through the book on my own, so my boyfriend and I decided to do it together. It brings us together on different levels I highly enjoy that spiritual time with him.
