Too much opening of refrigerator a day will consume too much electricity so I would suggest these tips; 1. Plan all the stuffs you need to get before opening 2. Do not put candies and other stuffs for kids inside if it can be consumable within a day 3. Clean your refrigerator once a week 4. Set the temperature control depending on the amount of stuffs inside Please feel free to add more thanks.

Those are really good tips. Thanks for th etips. I need my fridge to be very clean. So I try to clean the fridge atleast once in a week, whatsoever a tight schedule I have. I don't like my fridge to become a dust bin. I put up things that are needed only. I never stuff all things inside. I have seen a fridge of my friend that lloks just like a storage cup-board. She dumps all the left-over foods, in a thought that she can use it in a day or two. But finally she throws them over after 5 days - forgetting what are all inside. So it is always better to keep only thoses needed stuffs..otherwise it is a better idea to stick a notepad over the fridge and notedown whatever you ut inside alongwith the dat, so that you will not forget it...
