It lost my last few words and my questions!!!!
here is the last scene agan!
The Doctor leapt out of the great spaceship. He only had six minutes to get to the TARDIS. However the drag of the line slowed him down. Back in the ship he could see Persuasion fighting with Adric.
The Doctor pulled himself back to the ship with the rope and jumped Persuasion. He reached into the android's chest and deactivated him. Quickly he retrieved his sonic screwdriver out of Persuasion's pocket. The Doctor stepped back to get a running start, crossed the fingers on both hands at Adric for good luck, and leapt out again.
Again he failed.
Back in the ship he saw Enlightment fire on Adric. She dropped her gun and stepped over the prone figure to release the rope and threw it out of the ship. When she went back for her gun, Adric made his move, deflecting the ray. It hit the monopticon, destroying it. Adric ripped out her control and threw it into space.
The Doctor saw that the line was loose and untied his end as well. Then he reached into his back pocket and pulled out his cricket ball. He took careful aim and threw it at Monarch's ship. That started his drift toward the TARDIS. The ball bounced off the ship and he caught it deftly. That propelled him toward the TARDIS. He turned at the last moment and caught the side of the blue box. Reaching into his pocket, he got out the key and let himself in.
As he passed through the airlock, the Doctor exclaimed to himself, "Only a game! I always knew cricket would save my life one day!"
So, have you written fan fic? If so, what universe? Can you name the episodes I clipped? Did you like my story?

Wow it's a shame you got cut off with the story only by a few words....
Well as you know I wrote that story There And Back Again: A Rabbit's Tale based on Lord of The Rings...I actually have a novel..on the back burner that I hope to be an extension of short story I wrote some time ago, and I hope to make it sort of my of Lord of The Ring-ish story..but very different..another novel in the works is a Sci-Fi type story...and have it set in the Pavo constellation area...I even named all the planets of my "system'--the works
Sorry, can't tell you which episode of Dr. Who you based this story on of yours though..to be honest never watched Dr. Who...no idea why..I think there are some websites on can watch old episodes of different shows..Yup..did love the story though
I was able to understand the story despite not being familiar with the show

I know, just made me SICK when I saw where it cut it off. I've got a few original stories in letter form, but since they are original works, I less eager to post them.
I glad you liked the story. I actually wrote it in less than 3 days, while working a full time job!
I had heard a story on Morning Edition about the game of cricket, so while I now couldn't tell you anything much about the game, it inspired me to write the story. I had the story already written, when I saw a new zine requesting stories, and included how/when the Doctor first learned to play cricket, so I submitted it.

I really loved your story but I have never written sci fi or anything like that before. I am very creative but not in that way. I hope I didn't disappoint you and you will continue to read my stories as well.
