This is the initial trimester - just relax & let your body do all the work - it will be tiring & possibly make you feel a little sick but you're pretty right to do your usual day to day things!
Your body will protect the baby inside, so there's no need to wrap yourself up in cotton wool.
All i can say about don'ts - well, try & avoid soft cheeses, processed meats (sea food too) & salad bars etc - those foods can have a nasty bacteria in them. Otherwise you're pretty safe!
Also, if you exercise, it's a good thing to continue, stay fit & healthy throughout the entire pregnancy - make sure you eat well (you're DO NOT have to eat for 2, it's an old wives tale) & have 3 meals a day, include a lot of salads, veggies, meats & everything you need for a healthy diet!
Also, be sure to take folic acid, especially in the first 3 months of pregnancy, it is good for the baby & will help to prevent the baby from getting Spina Bifida. That's about it though, there's no need to change your routine too much (unless you play contact sports, right horses or stuff like that), just go about life as you always do & everything will be fine!
Congratulations & good luck with the pregnancy!

Oh, 1 more thing - DO NOT go out & buy a lot of books about motherhood, parenting & stuff like that. They all tend to contradict each other & you'll end up confused & stressed which you don't want!
As i mentioned, let your body do the work, relax & enjoy!

Hi! I know that you wanted your baby to be totally fine that's why you are asking that. Honestly, there's a lot of thing that are allowed and not allowed during pregnancy. One thing and most important is don't allow stress to beat you. Maybe it's better if you will sign up for the newsltter of Baby Center. This website really helps me during my pregnancy. It will give you a weekly development input on your pregnancy and they will also give some tips on what to do and not to do. Hope you find the site really interesting. Goodluck on your pregnancy.
