What about including Titanic on your list of movies to hate?

It was the most overrated movie in a long time. Yes, the effects were fantastic, but effects do not make a movie . The dialogue was trite, the love story implausible, and the acting was bad. There were plenty of stories about the people on board that ship, and there was no reason to make a teenybopper love story out of what happened. Best special effects Oscar, yes. All of the others—no way.
I found Titanic mostly square and dumb (not badly acted, though—DiCaprio and Winslet are marvelous romantic leads), it’s almost never pernicious.

Definitely, i think it's a bore The effects are superb but the acting and tne plot is very poor. I went to the movies when it opened and found it cheesy and phoney. I was a joke.

I agree with you, I went to see it with some friends and OMG my female coworkers were crying at the end while my male friends were drooling most of the time (when kate gets naked mostly) and I wanted to sleep but the room was teribly cold. I didn't quit early caue some of my friends where driving me home.

i never did like titanic. never watched it in its entirety. it was so hyped up that i got tired of it and didn't care to watch it all...sorry, i wasn't very romantic then. but even if it was shown now, i wouldn't watch it. it is too dramatic for me. i only like funny movies...hehe funny romantic movies.
