Here's an easy, time saving tip to help you post more on MyLot.

Here's a trick that I use to tag my discussions.
Next time you hit the "tag" page on a MyLot discussion, look just above the little tag box. There will be a bit of text from the original post. Find a word or set of words that describes the post, within that text and copy/paste it into the tag box.
Most times, the person posting the discussion will include related keywords in their discussion and you can simply copy/paste those into the tag box, after you finish responding. Be sure to seperate each tag with a comma.
These words are going to be more directly related to the discussion, than something you could make up. And, it saves hours on typing. For instance, a discussion about dogs, might have words like: dog, dog care, dog health, etc.
You can simply copy/paste all or any of these words as tags.
This is one of the easiest and best ways that I've found to tag discussions without typing. Some people will argue with me, that maybe it's better to type out your own tags. Everyone's got their own technique. And, this one works for me. If you're interested in saving a bit of time, while posting, please give it a try and let me know how it works out.
What's your best time saving tip for posting on MyLot?

Hey you! Thanks for saying so. I'm off to check out some of your discussions. I haven't had a chance to post to friend discussions since Sunday, so I'm way behind. Thanks for being patient with me.

I tag my own discussions when I start them. But when I am asked to submit tags after responding to someone else's discussion I always skip right past it. Do you know it there is any benefit for us to add tags each time?? I've always wanted to know that answer to that question. You seem to be myLot savy, hopefully you will know.

well, it's a good tip and saves time writing the tag.
what i do to response to save time, when people respond to my discussion and i'd like to comment but to individuals that i may give similar or the same comment just copy and paste to prevent writing the same comment if i wish to do that but if the comments are different then i write.

Call me stupid...or just still learning LOL But I don't really know what the tags do...or where to look if I was looking for a certain tag!
I try to put in words that have to do with the original post as well as anything I might have responded.
