well for all those mylotters who read my post on my son was suspended for biting,i went and seen the principal.i demanded a full investigation on why my son was suspended without listening to his side of the story, that he was bullied.i aslo demanded why another child who hurt my girlfriends son was not suspended for drawing blood on a childs arm.this he could not answer.he was stumped as to why the other child was not suspended for doing a more violent act than my son.this was all put down in writing and he has to reply within a few days.he knows that i am going to go to the education department if i am not satisfied with his responses.my son is now on day 3 of his suspension.i just want things to be fair at this school, the way i see it,what is good for one child should be good for all.i want to stamp out bullying at this school if i can.will let you all know the final out come when i get my response back.cheers sue

I think you did the right thing... if you remaind silent about this... then the same incident would happen again... and the bully will not be reprimanded for his actions... i would have done the same thing if i was in your shoes... i just hope the principal will do the right thing and will not try to cover up all the incidents with excuses...

thanks aseretdd.the pricipal started to make up excuses about my girlfriends son's incident.i cut him short and said both were acts of viloences so they should be treated the same way,so if my son was good enough to be suspended then the other boy also should be suspended.cheers sue

There should be no excuses. Rules are rules the same for everyone. Sounds to me as if your boy is being picked on for no reason. The principal should be ashamed of himself for acting in such an unfair manner. You go over his head as far as you have to to get justice and fair treatment.
