Things change so quickly.

I can remember walking into work with my mother, at the local veterinary clinic, and telling myself that I wanted to be just like her, a veterinarian technician. The idea that I wanted to work with animals had fueled me along into my teenage years. High school brought new classes, and with that, Psychology. I fell in love with the human mind, and just how abnormal human beings can be. I work at a veterinary clinic in the kennels, but the more I am there, the more I feel like it is not the job for me, and advancing to veterinarian technician one day in the future would probably be the worst thing that could happen. I think when I am old enough, I may back out and work in a local book store (I am a boring librarian-type) while I go to college to become a psychologist.
My question to you: Did your childhood dream(s) change as you entered adulthood? Yes, or no, and why.
