old greenday albums better than american idiot

in my opinion the older Green day album were far better than the most recent the newest ones were far too mainstream and too blockbuster anyone else think so?

well..i cant completely agree with you in this context becouse there are many good songs other than green day..but for now its what it is in rythm....

hi moose. i agree. for me dookie is the best green day album. all the songs are great and the music is so raw and the lyrics are so honest that i can't help but to wish that i had been the one to write those songs. i really like "burning out" as that is the song i can relate to the most. "sasafra's roots" is also another favorite of mine. dookie is one of the essential albums one must have in my opinion.
