Why is it so hard to go a visa to the USA? Is is the cost or do we not let you come over?

I would love to do that also. Some of the jeep tours where 100 dollars a person and that was too much for us to spend with the price of gasoline and all. I do not think we will be able to afford to do anything like in the future because of the price of gasoline being $4.49 a gallon here now.

$100 per person is a bit too much. Tours services are really a rip off, eh? Anyway, what can we do with all this global crisis? I guess we can opt for alternative energy source this time. We have a choice, don't we?

Yes we have a choice we can choose to spend our money or lack of it on necessities on something else.
We drove but took public transportation when possible on vacation.

My friend you think the photo is that good? I did love the grand caynon. It is right up there with Yosemite National park where I grew up.
I loved the grand canyon I could sit and look at the canyon all day long.

Yes I really do think that's a great photo--just have to ask this. Did you do the "echo" thing? I hear lots of time when people go to the Grand Canyon they shout something out and one can hear their voice "echo" for miles around..LOL

No LOL I do not know where they do the echo thing. I have heard of it but not where we here.

Stop in Airzona and see the grand canyon it is very pretty. I loved it. I am glad we went. I would love to go back again when we have more time to spend there.
I think this summer I want to take the local bus up to Yosemite National Park and go veggitate in my home town where I was raised. I have not been up there for years. I do not think I can afford the price of gasoline to drive up there.

The Grand Canyon is in Arizona???? Are you serious? What made me think it was in Nevada. Oh I must get a map, LOL.

I think we all get mixed up at times. You can go to Nevada if you wish but you cannot see the Grand Canyon.

I remember when you fell in the pool. That was so NOT funny. I would never laugh at something like that. I was actually worried about you. But, I do remember that we had a running joke for a while, I just don't remember what it was about. Anyway, I am always glad to be corrected when I am wrong. It means that I have learned something, so it is cool.
That picture of Abigail is so cute. Tht looks like something that Petie would do if he could. She looks like she is looking for trouble.

Abagail os always looking for trouble. She is horrible about following me into the walk in closet and staying in there all day because I shut the door on her. The other day she was locked in the extra bedroom because I went in long enough to close the window before it got to hot in there. She must have slipped under the bed because I did not see her when I left the room and shut the door again. When we opened the house up again at night to cool it off, guess who came out from under the bed when I opened the door?
She is such a silly girl. It is too bad you cannot have a pet they are so great.
Guess what Auntie Rozie you are going to be an Auntie again. I am going to be a grandma. My son and his girlfriend are expecting.

Oh congratulations, that is wonderful news. Babies are such a joy. I can not wait to have one of my own. I live in a place once where we had a cat and one day he came up missing for about a week. We had no idea where he could possibly be. Finally one day we just happened to open the garage for something.
You have never in your life seen a cat run that fast. He got out of there so fast that it scared us. The guy that was running the place did not keep his cars in the garage, so that was no need to go in there regularly. I could see how happy that cat was to be free.
At the time, I assumed that he had survived on the live critters or whatever, that was in there. But who knows, he did need to eat when he came out.

I called our daughter who has been trying to get pregnant for five years today and told her she is going to be an Auntie. She is excited also. I think she will be a little depressed but excited as well. I cannot wait to baby sit.
I am so glad I am feeling better now and not so sick as I was before.
I will keep you posted.

I would love to visit your county one day. I think you have some beautiful rocks and moutains besides the deserts.
I would love to snorkle in the barring reef also. I do not scuba dive I like to say ontop and see the fish from there. hahahaha

Dont leave it too long if you want to see the Great Barrier Reef.
Apparently all the coral is dying from global warming.
I lived on the coastline of the Great Barrier Reef most of my life and have never been snorkling there. How sad is that.

There are things I have not done in California also. I have never climbed half dome in Yosemeite National Park. Most people think if you lived in Yosemite you climbed the famous glacier. Well not me I am a chicken, Acturally mom would not let us do any rock climbing.

Where I grew up, we had nowhere we could go rock climbing.
Instead we were always climbing tree's.

We climbed a lot of trees also. I loved doing that. Now I am afraid of heights to a degree. I do not like to get up on ladders. I can get up in the loft in my garage I feel ok there.

We orginially wanted to see Wyoming but that got to expensive so we settle for some where closer. I would like to see Zion next.

I am glad you like the photo. I love going to the grand canyon. It was the first time for us also.
Happy belated honey moon. Today is my husband's and mine 31th wedding anniversary. We are expecting our fist grand child in February also. what a joyous time for us.
