I have a 1 year old baby boy and whoever sees him notices how addict he is in watching TV maybe it has something to do with his early exposure on TV since he was an infant. And you will be surprised because you cannot disturb him especially during commercial breaks. He loves commercials more than regular TV shows. And you know what? for a 1 year old kid he already have his favorite commercials and every time these commercials aired on TV he laughs...He's really amazing.

Wow. I didn't really think it was possible for this to happen at such a young age. My daughters are 2 years old and 9 months old, and they don't watch tv very often. My two year old will stop what she's doing and watch it for a couple minutes, but nothing that shows concern. She's more into Dora and Spongebob, but she won't watch the entire show.

My one year old son is almost the same kid as your son. He also loves watching TV especially the commercials. You cannot disturb him when he is in front of the TV. And he dances, sways his hips left and right, when the is danceable music played...

This isn't uncommon at all, the sounds & movement of the TV will always get a child's attention. It can start from VERY early on & then will just get them more amused the older they get!
My daughter always loved the movement & colours, she is now 2 & definitely has some VERY favourite commercials.
There's one for a printer company with rabbits & stuff in it - all made out of playdo - she loves this add & will come running from wherever she is as soon as she hears the tune. She did the same thing last year during the football season when she heard a tune for a football related commercial.
My daughter will sit there or stand there (depending on the commercial) with a big grin on her face, if it's one with a long boppy tune when she'll get up & dance to the song that's playing.
