Does saving environment is a pointless effort? Climate is already changing. I mean... it's geting HOT. Last time I was watching on TV something about bugs in Alaska. Borers are breeding there now twice as fast as it was earlier, becouse the average temperature on the Alaska has increased by 1 or 2 degrees. Bilions of trees are dieing via this change. If the temperature keep incresisng Alaska may become a desert. There's also a problem of a North Pole. Scientist found there huge ammounts of natural resources and this is teoretically no mens land. Russia want to keep this resources and they are planning to melt the ice on the North Pole. I mean... increase worldwide temperature and melt all the ice there! This is like suicide for the humanity. There are milions of examples like that. Does our turning off the light really is worth something?

The world is always changing and we most do what we do best and adapt. Part of adapting is doing every little thing that we can. Of course the things we have done has helped to speed our demise but everything thing we do to fix it helps to slow it. If you think about its only about 10% of the worlds population that are living beyond there carbon means. So far beyond that 200 species go extinct a day. The problem is that the other 90% wants to be like that and so we 10% must change the way we live so not to poisen the rest.
