as bad as they are doing this year i will always be a diehard flyers fan. as for the firing of ken hitchcock, well they havent really won any consistent games since. the firing of bobby clarck was the best thing they have done. they should have done that right after the eric lindros fiasco. he is such a crybaby.

It is great to know there are other diehard Flyers fans out here. Clarke actually resigned after stating he was burned out and then came back to the Flyers in a different position. I liked Hitchcock as a coach and I feel the players are to blame for the poor play but am sure things will get better since they are a young team.

At first I was going to say .."what is a Philadephia flyer" but now I know it's some sort of team? What type..I am not that great at sport's news;)+

It is a professional hockey team in the National Hockey League. It is a fast paced sport that is on ice and they try and score as many goals as needed to win games and win a championship at the end of the season. Hockey is not as big as football or other sports.
