I hate it, but I guess it is helpful when you're watching your weight. How do you calculate calories for things that are not marked, such as fruit, veggies and meat? Do you estimate? How accurate do you need to be?

I really don't like doing it either, but it seems to be one of the only things that works for me when I'm trying to lose weight. I joined www.sparkpeople.com , which is a weight loss site that is free to join, and it helps you figure out how many calories and fat grams and everything that you should be having each day. It has a really nice feature where you can enter in the foods you've eaten for the day and it will automatically tell you how many calories and everything else you've consumed. That has really helped me with my calorie counting! It also has something similar where you can enter in your exercises for the day and it will also tell you how many calories you've burned for the day. www.fitday.com also is very similar, but I like sparkpeople a little bit better.

Thanks, that sounds great. I'll check it out.
