| | You should be able to do this, so long as there is a connection between the laptop and the network. Have a look at the printer settings and make it a network printer and not a local printer. The Windows Help should also give you some tips as well. | | | | | | |

| | yes my dear friend, you can connect to the printer from your laptop. for ex: You have a pc and that pc connected to the printer (hardwired) as u say and installed properly to that system. 2) your laptop has the wireless and in the same network. 3) go to the pc and control panel>printers> right click the printer propreties and share it. 4) then come back to the laptop control panel> printers > and then choose the add printer > here u choose the second option ie a network printer that iss connected to the another computer> press next> there choose the second option > ex: \\192.168.1.2\printer ( here i had provided the ex ip ( there u have to keep the ip address of printer connected ) then finish. | | | |

| | yes, the thing you need is have them all in the same network. For this you need a router so you can connect the printer to, and when is connected you can make your pc and laptop find it by going to: control panel > hardware and sound > printers > add printer > add a network, wireless or bluetooth printer. Or just find the way your pc will search for a network printer. This is a very cool way of having your printer setup, I had it once and I loved it. | | | | | | |

| | This way seems much easier, but how do I connect my Printer to my router? The printer is not wireless and does not have an ethernet port to connect to my router? Thank You for responding. | | | |

| | yes, but this is a more dificult way. You have to have a PC hosting the printer. The way you do this is by first installing the printer to your main pc then you have to enable sharing from the computer. If you have Vista go to help and support and search for PRINTER > option 7 should say SHARE PRINTER click on it > Then it will give you the option TO SHARE A PRINTER ATTACHED TO YOUR COMPUTER.> just follow those steps and it should work. If you have XP try doing the same. | | | |

| | I just plug my printer into my laptop. Seems a whole lot easier than messing with all that wireless garbage. I'm waiting for my student loan to buy one of the new wireless printers...than it will be easy peasy!! | | | | | | |
