What is the plural of a computer mouse? Is it mice or mouses?  email this discussion to a friend?

I know the plural of an animal mouse is mice, but since a computer mouse is not an animal is the plural still mice? I think it should be mouses. I think mice just sounds weird!!

I just say "mice." Why should a plural word be any different, just because the meaning is different? I think "computer mice" makes perfect sense to me.

Example: I have accumulated an odd assortment of computer mice, since my computers have worn out beore the mice did."
