I am agnostic. I first learned this term in grade 11 world religions. It means I believe there is a God but I dont believe we has humans have the mental capacity to understand who he is. Is there a God?

You would have to determine the meaning of God to you in order to determine if there is one. For many there are many Gods or Dieties. For others there is a single God above all others. In some cases there is no religion at all. Faith is a belief in something that is only known to an individual on a personal basis. To each his own never stands more true than in someones faith. Believe in something bad enough and a person will go to the ends of the Earth to defend or contradict it. The situation can go many ways. For me to sit here and say there is a God would be arrogant of me upon some of my fellow woman/man. Although they may not all feel as I do, it is my belief not to peddle or infringe my belief upon others. I do however like to share what I do know about religion as a whole not just a single sect. The morality of it is we all want to believe there is something more that we were meant for. I know we were not meant to belittle ourselves over whoes God is right. Reminds me of children telling each other "My dad is bigger than yours'". -

We don't really know if there's God or not. So, what difference will it make if there's God or not? How important is the existence of God to you? Will there be any changes in your life if you'll know that there's God? Just like you, I've known about Him since childhood. If I committed mistakes, my mother then told me that God would get angry of me. When I grow older, I realized that I don't need to be scared of anyone for me to do good things.I've asked many kids why they have to do good things, and they have the common answer "So that God will not get angry". What if this kids will grow older and happen to believe that there's no God at all? Would they be still doing good things? Or will they will free to commit evil deeds because there's no God at all. For me, I don't really know if God exist or not. But I know is that I do good things for it makes me happy. It's always fun to be good.

I guess that depends on how you look at it. I am a practicing pagan and I believe in deity in a much different way than christians. I wouldn't say I'm an agnostic, I just don't look at it that way. But in a way, I think you're right, there is a higher power but we can't possibly understand all there is to understand. We're just not there yet!
