All my friends have boughten their prom tickets weeks ago, gotten their dresses. made their hair appointments/nail appointments.

I just paid for my tickets today and I don't plan on going shopping for a while. Our prom is June 27th. I work the 24,25,26 so I'm hoping to go not this weekend but next weekend. My boyfriend's brother is taking me shopping for everything. I'm pretty excited. I'm paying for it all myself but (well my mom is) I'm hoping he'll see something cute and surprise me. Because he's got a LOT of money and likes to buy stuff for everyone in the family and I'm pretty much part of their family. Which is nice.

Anyway,
ever had to scramble for an event like this? I'm not too worried because he's doing my hair and I made my nail appointment today and I'm doing my own make up, but ohhhhh I just feel like I'll be getting a crummy dress 'cause it's gonna be so last minute.

With it being Prom I would've made my appointments weeks ago. I don't want to be left out. Yes you will have some trouble with finding a dress that you like and even size for that matter as there will be many many girls hunting for that perfect dress. When I had my prom I made my own dress so it was alot easier for me. Didn't take me long at all to do. But I did get my hair, nails and makeup appointments done long long before so I knew that I would get a time slot in.

well i'm not really worried about the dress THAT much, my boyfriend's brother gets everything from places that no one's ever heard of so their dresses wont look like mine at all. I'm not worried too much about sizes either in any case. I wouldn't mind finding a dress that's in my size and only my size. lol, but I know that wont happen.
