Yeah, I do use bluetooth to transfer files either between my phone and my friend's phone or from my computer to my phone. I normally don't keep my bluetooth on all the time, so I think the virus problem won't be so big an issue for me. Besides, my friends normally tell me they want to send a file to me before I on my bluetooth on my phone, and I switch it off right after the file transfer. I have to admit I'm not aware of this virus problem via bluetooth until I saw this discussion, so thanks for bringing it up. I still think bluetooth is cool though because you can send and receive files on your phone for free.

Sometimes I use Blue Tooth especially for large file transfers with other phones from my family/friends. Right after the transfer, I close the bluetooth connection immediately to prevent the risk of getting a virus. But if it's just a small file, I'll use infrared most likely.
