Looking for advice for increasing traffic to our website

We have developed a unique website which is designed like a virtual shopping mall. The home page looks like a mall directory where visitors can click on sections to visit the listed stores and shops. There are also some sections with activities and info for different members of the family. There's a teen section where young people can go to chat, post messages, take fun quizzes or play puzzle games. The is a sports section where you can get scores, read sporting news or watch news videos and much more. We have tried to make this site as fun and entertaining as we could and are constantly looking for material to add to it. Our problem is we aren't getting the traffic levels we would like. Does anyone out there have any ideas or suggestions we could use to increase visitors to our site? The site is called Kj's Mini-Mall and the web address is http://www.kjsminimall.com. We are also open to any suggestions for adding items to the website, just please keep in mind that it is a family website and we do not want any material that would be inappropriate for minors.
