smart phones -- womens are now attracted

today i am reading newspaper and found a news that every second iphone is buyed by a female, and now womens are buying more smartphone than earlier.
what you think about this attraction.
why now more womens buying iphone, blackberry, etc.
i think one of the reason is cost now you can get a blackberry in just $99, may this is one of the reason.

I don't think the price really matter - we are talking about the half of the population who more than willingly pay up to $1000 for a pair of shoes ;)
I think woman are just starting to see the opertuneties with the new technology, but society is changing, it's no longer just a toy or geeks these smart phones, they are actually great tools in a hectic day on the move.
