|  Hey guys I need a bit of help from other computer people. I am pretty knowledgeable when it comes to computers, but I am much more focused on software and programming over hardware. I am wanting to build the best or one of the best computers availible right now. I am an online gamer, big internet user, and really abuse my poor computer so the best or at least top of the line is almost need for me. I am also interested in laptops. Could you guys tell me what you consider to be topline PC and Laptops also include approximate (or exact if you have it) prices?

| |  In all my experience with PC's and Laptops The one main thing I've learned in 15yrs. is: You get what you pay for, the more you pay the more you can do. Even if you don't use a feture at this time doesn't mean you wish you had later. my laptop A HP cost $2,300 and Ive had it for 4 yrs, and it's still not out dated it does every thing! Words of advise! tdemex

| |  If you're a gamer, just remember to spend more on a great graphics card and RAM. The general rule of thumb is, your graphics card should at least be equal to the price of your processor, or more expensive than your processor.

| |  Hello lizardgod. Since you are online gamer and big internet user, I suggest you choose a computer that has more amounts of RAM, a fast processor and high quality video card needed. These will handle a large amount of memory video games takes. I also suggest you to set-up a few fan which are needed because gaming system is running fast and hot. These will give your computer to run smooth and coolly.

| | ok like I said above I am looking for more specific info, I am decently familiar with computers and know what hardware makes them faster, better, and more needed for gaming. What I am really looking for is; is it possible to get 8GB DDR RAM chips?? what motherboards support the best RAM chips and other top line hardware. What is the top three or so Video Cards? and what is considered top line processor speeds nowadays? Also do you suggest fans or something like gel coolant or some other form of cooling?

| |  Not sure as to prices for systems as I always get mine built for me rather than buy a set-up computer. I can tell you that you will get more bang for your buck with AMD instead of Intel processors.

| |  Hi if we talk about the computers in desktops go for Quadcore 2.2 Ghz with 8 Gb memory and a 512 me nvidia geforce video card and while configuring the computer with an 8 gb memory chip make sure that you are opting a 64 bit operating system asif you have a 32 bit os it will take only 4 gb memory to the max
In laptop think about getting a DELL XPS Series because that is the best i have experienced
