The complete set of fairy tales used in the shrek movies

Now we all know shrek is the movie that puts all famous fairy tales together and makes it into one huge comedy that we can all love and enjoy. WRONG!!!! some people like me that didnt reqad many fairytales when i was younger didnt get to learn about alot of the examples used in the movies. What i ant to know is what are the different stories used in these movies and where i can read about them to get a better understanding about this movie!!!!

And Andersen.
And Aesop.
Just read all those tales books :)
most of what shrek use in the movie's mainstream fairytales.
like cinderella, rapunzel, puss in the boots, pinnochio, etc. It wont be hard finding a story of them in the internet.

I like the 1st and 2nd part much than the 3rd part..awaiting to watch the 4th. This is my favorite movie.

these fairy tales are in alot of old movies and books... where in the world have u been? if u dont live in america then that could be an excuse, but the talking donkey comes from the bible, not fairy tales, the ogre comes from way old legends, 3 blind mice is a poem and a story i think, and whole bunch more... i dont know what ur talking about not knowin any of these. Shrek is my favrite movie.
